In Oct 2008 I moved out of the last place I lived for any length of time, a modest apt in Nevada City, CA with a little studio and a garden with my then wife and a cat named Moo. Since then I’ve unpacked boxes and looked at stuff and decided moving this around just wouldnt do any longer. Too many projects begun and left undone. Too many roofs and this is my attempt to live under one. It took me a good long year to get all this in one place, the Year of Catching Up. Now I’ll offer some of these things one by one into the ether for those who find it interesting or useful and so I can check in on it when I forget what I thought I had done.
